  18. I just got the package! Finally! Anyway, one of the big things for me 
  19. will be the ability to bring in work that I've already done in 3ds and 
  20. let Lightwave make it look better! :-)
  21. However, after fumbling around, finally finding the 3ds loader plugin, I 
  22. go to the tools screen, under custom, click the 3ds loader and find my 
  23. 3ds file (it contains only one object, no lights or cameras), and it 
  24. gives me some progress window that disappears literally .1 seconds later 
  25. and the object does not appear.

  27. I cant find any details in the documentation about the plugin. Is there some 
  28. way I need to save the 3ds file so lightwave will utilize it?
  29. I tried a number of files, and even saved it as DXF and tried to import 
  30. that, but it does the same thing...

  32. Incidently I am running under Win31, not NT. I will try the NT version 
  33. tonight and see if that helps...
  34.  
  35. Any suggestions would be appriciated!
